New artist Victoria Griffith is set to appear on the long-running Christian TV series Babbie's House, with host Babbie Mason, where the Alabama singer performs songs from her upcoming debut CD, Wellspring in the Wilderness, due out March 5. The segment is scheduled to air at 4 p.m. E.T. Friday, January 18, on WATC-TV57 and at 3 p.m. E.T. Monday, January 21, on the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Network.

"It was such an incredible experience to appear on Babbie's House," Griffith says. "Her warm, welcoming spirit filled the room, and I couldn't help but to instantly love her and want to be her friend!"

While recording her independently-released 10-song debut CD, Griffith learned she was pregnant with her first child, followed soon after by the diagnosis that the young woman had a brain tumor which required immediate removal. Navigating this circuitous life path, Griffith has emerged successfully on the other side with a riveting testimony and a CD filled with songs that exude hope and grace, and perfectly showcase the singer's stunning, country-inflected vocals.

Griffith, who as a child was "discovered" by her cousin's voice teacher when she tagged along to a singing lesson, is known throughout her home state of Alabama for her powerful voice.
