The CBS military crime drama has come into the news again, as it will be paired with a new spinoff, NCIS New Orleans, set to follow the show on Tuesday nights.

Loyal fans that have stuck with the NCIS universe have gotten wind of the fact that Agent. Leroy Jethro Gibbs of NCIS is old friends with Agent. Dwayne Cassius Pride of New Orleans. Both agents descend from the Mike Franks school of NCIS agents, so viewers are expecting to find many similarities between the two characters.

In another NCIS season 12 spoiler, various reports are saying that fans are likely to meet, for the first time, the mysterious and never-before-seen, second ex-wife of Gibbs.

Meanwhile, NCIS cast member Brian Dietzen has confirmed on Twitter that filming of Season 12 of the hit show starts next week after the cast gets together for their first table read. Dietzen plays the cheerful forensic assistant Jimmy Palmer.

As hinted in Season 11, Palmer's family life will see some developments in the new season.
