As the highly anticipated Season 12 of NCIS returns in September, rumor has it that Cote de Pablo will return with it.

Emily Wickersham recently shared her ideas and perspective on bringing back the character of Ziva David played by Pablo: "We have to ask Gary (Glasberg, the maker of the show) about that," Emily said to Digital Spy.

Beyond that she had also made mention that it would be fun to work with the actress again, given the chance.

Rumors are beginning to circulate that the producers of the show want to bring Pablo back onto the set at any cost. Pablo's sudden break from the show came about in Episode 11 of Season 2, where sources was said she became fed up with the lack of compensation for her role. Other sources conflicted, saying that she left the series for personal reasons.

"The idea of leaving was not something I toyed around with for a long time. It was an overwhelmingly hard thing - at times terrifying. Leaving "NCIS" was not planned," Pablo has said to TVLine.

Season 12 of NCIS is scheduled to air every Tuesday in September at 8 p.m. Other series regulars, namely Mark Hermon and Brian Dietzen, are confirmed to return in this upcoming season of NCIS.

Fans will have to wait and see if Cote de Pablo will make her stunning return to CBS' popular crime drama.
