The latest 'NCIS' Season 12 spoilers reveal that Leia, who is set to be played by Stephanie Jacobsen, could be Tony DiNozzo's new love interest, since he's moving on from a failed relationship with Ziva David (portrayed by Cote de Pablo).

According to Entertainment Weekly, Jacobsen will be "partnered with Agent DiNozzo for a case involving an international terrorist."

In an earlier report by TVLine, it is said that DiNozzo will meet a new love interest as he goes "through a case."

Showrunner Gary Glasberg described the relationship of Jacobsen's charater with DiNozzo to TVLine saying, "We'll be mature about it and handle it properly, and Michael's excited about it."

Entertainment Weekly also described the character as an "armed but feminine, sexy and single, cool and confident. A former U.S. Marshal-turned FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force leader, she is flirtatious and adventurous with a sense of humor. Leia is a straight shooter, brash when she needs to be. She isn't afraid to knock down doors or egos."

Meanwhile, Trioan Bellisario from 'Pretty Little Liars' teased fans by posting a picture of her and Sean Murray on Instagram with the caption, "Reunion!" The actors play Sarah and Tim McGee in the new season

'NCIS' Season 12 airs on Sept. 23 on CBS.
