NBC's favorite fantasy crime drama, "Grimm" is making it's way back to the television tonight as Season 3 begins at 9 p.m. The "Grimm" Season 3, Episode 1, picks right up where Season 2 ended as Nick ended the season with a major jawdropping bust as he is investigating a series of angry assaults. Season 2 ended with Nick figuring out that Captain Sean Renard's half brother, Eric Renard, is in town as he heads to confront the Baron. Yet, when gets to the Baron, Nick falls in to a trap where he is fatally hit with toxic slime that leaves him in a zombie-like manor. The green slime has left Nick paralyzed and the hero seems to have died, as Season 2 closes with Nick being shipped to Europe in a coffin. 

Season 3 premieres tonight with Episode 1, " The Ungrateful Dead" starting exactly where we left off. Nick is still in the coffin paralyzed as his friends try to fend for his life as they fight off zombies. The synopsis is as follows:

" A panicked Juliette, Monroe, and Rosalee enlist Hank's help in fending off a zombie hoard while trying to figure out what happened to Nick. Knowing the truth, Captain Renard takes measures to help rescue Nick from the clutches of his brother, Eric. Elsewhere, along with the help of the mysterious Stefania, Adalind finds herself facing her most gruesome task yet in her effort to regain her Hexenbiest abilities."

The supernatural fairy-tale drama, "Grimm" made its first debut back in 2011 and proved to be a hit amongst viewers. The tv series is inspired by the actual Grimm Fairy Tales novels, as the Detective Nick Burkhardt learns he is a decendant of a long line of guardians known as Grimms.
