NBC's "Million Second Quiz" TV Show and App: Season 1 Finale Premieres Tonight on NBC / Who Will Win the Grand Prize? [VIDEO] [LIVE STREAMING ONLINE]

The season 1 finale of "Million Second Quiz," a TV quiz show that also doubles as an interactive smartphone app, will premiere tonight on NBC. The winner of the challenge tonight will be the winner of the grand prize of 2 million dollars. "Million Second Quiz" was supposed to be a game show where the audience at home could answer questions through an app downloaded on their Apple and Android devices, but the game proved to be a little too complicated for most users and critics. Catriona Wightman from Digital Spy wrote, "Is there any need for things to be this complex? I suppose NBC couldn't devote a full hour every night for 10 days to mere questions and answers, but perhaps something a little simpler could still have been exciting enough."

NBC built a huge set for "Million Second Quiz" in Manhattan and hired Ryan Seacrest to be the host of the show. The concept is somewhat simple on paper: contestants answer general knowledge questions in the hopes of claiming the "money chair," in which they earn money for how long they sit. All of the money, however, is seemingly meaningless until the final winner wins the $2 million cash prize at the end.
