NBA Trade Rumors: Timberwolves Offers from Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers for Kevin Love

The NBA trading scene has long since cooled off after the superstars have found their respective homes for the next playoffs season. Although there is still time for teams to make deals for swaps and trades, the window is slowly closing as the summer comes to an end.

Trade rumors circulating around the NBA are not as exciting and interesting as it was when LeBron, Anthony, and Gasol were still free agents, and since they've found a team to call their own, the hype has really died down. For the most part, the only player worth keeping track of is Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Currently, only three teams remain in the competition for signing Love into their fray, the Golden State Warriors, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Chicago Bulls. However, he won't come cheap and easy, as the three teams must offer something of equal value to the Timberwolves.

The Warriors are offering three players for Love, Harrison Barnes, David Lee, and Klay Thompson. As far as the Timberwolves are concerned, Thompson is the only legitimate bargaining chip that the Warriors can use to get Love. Though Barnes and Lee are good players, their value is exactly up to par with that of Thompson.

For the Cavaliers, they're offering Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a future first-round pick. This goes both ways for the Timberwolves. Though Wiggins can certainly carry his own weight in the team, the Timberwolves minus Love is going to the Western Conference pretty tough.

It's important to consider that they do get two number one overall picks, which has never happened before in the NBA. The Timberwolves could use the advantage during the 2015 draft picks, but still, without Love, it's going to be difficult for them in the playoffs.

Lastly, the Bulls are offering Taj Gibson, Nikola Mirotic, and Doug McDermott for Love. The trade puts them in a spot where they believe they would have the upper hand in the upcoming season. The Bulls give a good offer, especially with Mirotic and McDermott, as both have a good deal of NBA experience.

The trade-off is equally tempting for the Bulls and the Timberwolves, but if the trade pushes through, fans can only wonder who will really benefit from this trade.

The fight for Love is a tight one, but it is essentially up to the Timberwolves to make the final decision.
