NBA Free Agents 2014: Rumors, Predictions for Free Agents: LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh

Rumors about the upcoming NBA free-agency period emerge as people begin to speculate as to which possible player transfers could occur.

Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James are the biggest names in the free agency this year. Veteran Pau Gasol aims to get superstars on the same team, but after Anthony finished his first league tour Thursday, rumors state that he will come back to New York Knicks.

According to Casey Gisclair, Anthony will most likely have a change of heart and sign a four-year contract with Houston Rockets to partner with Dwight Howard and James Harden.

Heat's "big three" could still team up for the next season, as Chris Broussard of ESPN mentions, "While Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were committed to returning to the Heat, LeBron James was unsure of what he would do... the only certainty coming out of the meeting concerning James was that he wanted a maximum-level salary."

He also added that James did not ask Wade and Bosh to opt out, or that LeBron has made a solid commitment or given any hint that he would transfer to another team. So, his decision to opt out could just be a sign that he's asking for a raise, according to Bleacherreport, "If the Heat are getting James back, he won't come cheap."

On the other hand, Gasol could land a deal with the Chicago Bulls. If this deal would be closed, he will play with Joakim Noah, setting up a powerful duo for Bulls' interior.
