NBA Free Agency News: LeBron James to End Up With Cleveland Cavaliers Not With Miami Heat
The NBA Free Agency period continues as players are reluctant to make final decisions on where they will end up playing next season.
The latest and most talked about free agent is LeBron James, with people speculating on whether James will land a contract with either the Miami Heat or with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
James has spent some time with Pat Riley of the Heat and a member of the team's salary cap department just this Wednesday. The meeting didn't end with James making a commitment to the team, but nobody knows for sure if James has already decided. The superstar still has a few days to make up his mind.
There are also some rumors saying, that aside from the Heat, the Cavaliers are making headway towards signing LeBron for the next season. NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley said in a radio interview with Cleveland that it would be great news if James decided to return to the Cavaliers.
"I've said all along I think LeBron should go back to Cleveland. It would be a great story. I don't think he should have left in the first place. I think it would be great for the city of Cleveland and I hope he does it," Barkley said during the interview.
Some have said that the Heat hasn't done much in free-agency and won't likely be signing LeBron. The Cavaliers have much more to offer the superstar, so it wouldn't be a surprise if James does sign with Cleveland.
Apparently, James wants to take the time off to spend some time with his family before he makes his decision.
