A new promotional poster has been released for the upcoming third season of the popular country music drama, 'Nashville'. The image leads many to believe that ambitious yet emotional journeys are in store for the characters on the show.

The poster depicts Rayna and Juliette, played by Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, respectively. The image is entirely overlaid with a grainy monochromatic filter. They two actresses are standing out in an open field somewhere, and gaze outward as if in deep thought. This gives fans the notion that the next season of 'Nashville' will focus on these two characters for the most part.

Previous news about the upcoming installment of the hit ABC show, involved Hayden Panettiere's real life pregnancy. As it stands, producers plan to have Juliette, her character, pregnant on the show to mirror Panettiere. However, Juliette's situation will be far more dire as she is unsure who the father is.

While Avery could very well be the father, there's a problem with that. Juliette had slept with Jeff, which means that he could be the father of the child. This would make things far worse for the relationship between Juliette and Avery, which fans have been hoping will develop into something beautiful.

Other spoilers have been mentioned that take into account Juliette's feelings about her pregnancy. Evidently she will feel guilty about the whole thing, and possibly decide to give the child up for adoption when he or she is born.

Season 3 of 'Nashville' is set to premiere on Wednesday, September 24 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
