The spoiler trailers for tonight's episode 10, "Tomorrow Never Comes," reveal someone is going to die and be gone from the world of Nashville forever. Obviously they aren't going to tell us who so let's do some detective work and find out who the victim is.
According to E! the targets are Scarlett, Juliette, Teddy, Deacon, Gunner, Tandy, Peggy, or Will. Who do you think it will be?
Juliette seems like a stretch. It seems hard to believe Nashville is going to kill off one of its main characters. In the trailer preview you can hear Juliette screaming after a gunshot, which leads me to believe she knows who the victim, is close to him/her, but not the victim herself.
Scarlett just burst onto the music scene. She's just starting to cozy up to Avery again until some mid-20s drama with her best friend might reawaken feelings for Gunner. Nope, Scarlett should survive the night.
If Scarlett lives then so will Gunner. He too is just breaking into the industry writing songs for Luke Wheeler on tour. However, Nashville is the closest thing on TV to a late night soap. If they're going for big twist Gunner could get the boot.
Deacon on the other hand would be an easy character to kill off. Maybe he spirals out of control when Mayor Teddy cuts his set at the Music City Festival, hikes to the closest bar and drinks himself into a self-destructive tizzy.
The top two candidates for being the death victim in tonight's Season 2 finale are Will and Teddy. Will's a great character but been a bit troublesome in recent episodes. Maybe is sexuality is discovered and he commits suicide? Maybe a bar fight gets a little out of hand.
Teddy too is expendable. In last week's episode Lamar vowed to get revenge on whoever put him in jail. Though it was actually Tandy who's responsible, Lamar suspects his one time partner the mayor did it.
Either way we'll all find out in the Nashville Season 2 finale "Tomorrow Never Comes" Wednesday night at 10 PM ET on ABC.
