'Mr. Robot' Season 2 Spoilers: Mr. Robot Interacts With More People In Elliot's Life?

"Mr. Robot" creator Sam Esmail started his hectic week taking the spotlight at a USA Network event in Los Angeles. Alongside "Mr. Robot" himself (Christian Slater) and Rami Malek (Elliot Anderson), the showrunner leaked some exciting reveals for series.

Esmail said he intentionally kept many of the show's secrets and unsolved mysteries to keep fans waiting for season 2. Nonetheless, he promises to unburden the viewers from unanswered questions when the next season begins.

It's clear to fans that Mr. Robot is a figment of Elliot's imagination and his late father. However, the fictitious character manages to engage with the people around Elliot, including with E-Corp executive Tyrell Wellick.

In the next season, Mr. Robot will interact with more people in Elliot's life, keeping fans startled with Elliot's imaginary friend. Nonetheless, Esmail promises to explain Mr. Robot's existence very soon in the show.

Moreover, the showrunner praised the show's lead actor Rami Malek for effectively portraying his character, and successfully going through the show's complex story line.

"I'm listening to all these great actors (during the audition), and what they had wasn't working at all," said Esmai. "Then Rami comes in and added this warmth. It changed everything. He added a vulnerability to Elliot. I wanted to hug Elliot and say, 'Don't go away and stop talking.' Rami is a big owner in this character I created."

Malek's strong performance at the center of "Mr. Robot," gives the show the sturdy structure.

"Mr. Robot" season 2 airs on summer 2016. The first season became a huge hit for its original and unusual plotline.

Esmail's interesting choice of music, alongside his trademark non-traditional shooting style and story structure earned the drama a solid following.
