The movie that made fans laugh their heart out, 'Dumb and Dumber' hasn't been on the big screen in nearly 20 years and with much time passed they are finally in the making of 'Dumb and Dumber To'. The sequel that has been one of the most awaited comedies in quite some time has been said to be filming the past couple of months in Atlanta. 'Dumb and Dumber To' will  have the original cast with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, as Lloyd and Harry, as well as Peter and Bob Farrelly returning as the Directors. The movie has been filmed in Marietta, Atlanta, in the towns square, as well as the Perfoming Arts Center that is also in Atlanta . According to Access Atlanta, the crew of 'Dumb and Dumber To' rented out the Performing Arts Center for a total of nine days, but only used two of them for actual filming. "The movie crew was great to work with," Selina Branstetter, manager of the Gwinnett Center, told the news site. "We were honored to have such a high caliber event filmed in our theater." 

Besides being in Atlanta over the past month, the film has been working hard on making sure casting and writing the scripts are top priority. Reportedly, there was only a total of 400 extras that were hired this year to be inthe sequel of 'Dumb and Dumber'. Working on the casts scripts, Bob Farrelly reportedly told Access Atlanta they have been working close knit with the writers of Family Guy, the Tv show in making some of the jokes, and bylines for the new movie. He also kept hinting towards the possibility of there being a 'Dumb and Dumber 3' in the making. "We were able to make it funnier and funnier and funnier," Farrelly said. "A couple of times, we got together with the Family Guywriters - we're good friends with those guys. They came in and we did a roundtable with them for a few days. They punched up specific jokes...I knew going in that this was a really solid script. "Things that are funny on paper are three times funnier when those guys are doing it," he noted. "When we put these two guys [Carrey and Daniels] together, I thought to myself, 'Why didn't we make eight of these things?' I believe that after this movie comes out, people are going to be like, 'You can't be serious? You have to do another one, because they're so good!'" . The 'Dumb and Dumber To' is said to be released in theatres come 2014
