Moto X+1 Release Date Latest News: Leaks Show Logo Button as Secret Front Sensors of Device
New leaks continue to flood the Internet even though we are just a day away from the Sept. 4 event in Chicago where Motorola is expected to make a big announcement about its forthcoming smartphone.
A set of new photographs of Moto X+1 acquired by TK Tech News reveals that the rear Moto logo on the back of the handset may actually be a new button, something akin to that of LG G3. It is believed that this small depressed spot accommodates the power button of the handset, which may possibly be used for other purposes within apps.
A closer look at these latest set of high-resolution images reveal four camera-esque sensors on the front side of the Moto X+1. It is believed that these sensors will work alongside new software christened Moto Aware. However, a report by Phone Arena says that Motorola has removed the Moto Aware software from all its handsets following a lawsuit filed by Apple, which blocks the use of this feature.
Before it was removed, Moto Aware automatically adjusted phone settings quickly. These include the security settings as well as UI tweaks subject to the location of the user, in addition to the lighting and noise in the vicinity of the user.
In the meantime, TK Tech News quotes another source saying that, in fact, these sensors will be used as part of the artificial interface of X+1. It appears that the shifting UI interface would be something quite akin to Dynamic Perspective on the Amazon Fire Phone.
Apart from this button users can expect the Moto X+1 to come with an aluminum frame and an assortment of finishes including plastic, leather, wood and even denim. Later this holiday season, Verizon will supposedly release an exclusive carbon fiber version of the handset.
As of now, it is expected that the upcoming handset will be priced within the same ballpark as the original Moto G.
