'Mortal Kombat 10' PS4, Xbox One Release Date: New Game on All Formats 2015 [TRAILER VIDEO]

After months of teasers on social media sites about the upcoming 'Mortal Kombat 10' game, NetherRealm studios has finally announced that it will be releasing the title on all platforms, including the PS4 and Xbox One, in 2015.

Ed Boone, the game's creative director has also confirmed that the new game will be titled, 'Mortal Kombat 10'.

A trailer came out with the announcement that showcased a battle between popular characters Sub-Zero and Scorpion. The video gave fans the opportunity to see how this version of the game will be different from the previous ones, especially now that it's on next-gen consoles.

WB Games UK has also confirmed a 'Mortal Kombat 10' release date, set for 2015, and that the game will be available for all leading platforms, counting the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 as well as the PC.

An earlier report says that Boone wrote on Twitter recently, "On June 2nd, Kombat Kontinues...#WHOSNEXT."

In response to a query from fans whether the game will have more characters, Boone further tweeted, "Yes. There will absolutely be more characters than Scorpion & Subzero."

The two ninjas, Sub-Zero and Scorpion, have practically appeared all the "Mortal Kombat" games since Boone and John Tobias created the franchise in 1992.
