Mortal Kombat 10 PS4 Release Date: Upcoming Mortal Combat Title Will Be Available on All Platforms in 2015
Following several months of teasers making the rounds on various social media sites, NetherRealm Studio has finally confirmed the release date of a new 'Mortal Kombat X' game. According to the Chicago-based video game developer, the new 'Mortal Kombat X' will be available for all platforms, including the PS4 and Xbox One, in 2015.
Recently, Ed Boone, creative director of the game, announced as well as confirmed on his Twitter account that the new game will be christened 'Mortal Kombat 10' (Mortal Kombat X).
The trailer of the game that was seen during the announcement showed a battle between Sub Zero and Scorpion revealing how the game would look like in the latest technology, somewhat different from the last released game.
Even WB Games UK announced the release date of 'Mortal Kombat 10'. In a recent announcement, it stated that the game will be available for all platforms, including the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and for the PC, this year 2015.
As the 'Mortal Kombat Reboot' and 'Injustice: Gods Among Us' proved to be great hits, there is immense interest among the gamers regarding the upcoming title to the Mortal Kombat series. Even NetherRealm Studios expects to duplicate these successes with 'Mortal Kombat X'.
It's interesting to note, that while the gameplay will be quite similar to 'Injustice', which was released last year, players will be given the ability to interact in the game environment of 'Mortal Kombat X'. Such interaction will be a first in this age old game series.
