Longtime Game designer Ed Boon recently took to social media to announce the next installment to the legendary franchise "Mortal Kombat 10" will arrive in stores next year.

Hip Hop Artist Wiz Khalifa also tweeted in response to Boon's major gaming announcement.
"I am 'WHOSNEXT,'" wrote Khalifa on Twitter on Monday.
Khalifa's new song "Can't Be Stopped" was featured in the official trailer for the upcoming game.
In the video, longtime characters Sub-Zero and his enemy Scorpion appeared in the trailer battling each other to the death in a forest. Both ninjas (Sub-Zero and Scorpion) have appeared in practically every "Mortal Kombat" game since the franchise was created by Ed Boon and John Tobias back in 1992.
"Yes. There will absolutely be more characters than Scorpion & Subzero," tweeted Boon when asked by fans if there will more characters than the two revealed in the new video.
WB Games UK also confirmed Boon's announcement on social media on June 2.
"Mortal Kombat X announced for 2015 on PS3, PS4, X360, XBone &PC! First public appearance at E3 in LA next week - http://www.mortalkombat.com #MKX," wrote WB Games UK on Twitter.
