My Morning Jacket New Album Confirmed By Singer Jim James Saying 'We Don't Put Limits on Anything' Release Date 2014

My Morning Jacket is officially working on a new album according to singer Jim James. This will be the band's seventh studio album. 

James was doing a solo concert in Santa Monica on Wednesday and shared some insight about recording with his fans at the intimate gathering. 

"With My Morning Jacket we don't put limits on anything," James told fas at Apogee Studios for the KCRW concert. "(Producer) Joe Chiccarelli gave me great advice: Don't make demos anymore."

So it will be interesting to see what the end product is. No release date has been mentioned yet but would most likely be out sometime in 2014. 

This will be the My Morning Jacket's first album since Circuital, Billboard in 2011.
