Modern Family Season 6 Release Date, Cast Spoilers: Steve Zhan and Adam DeVine Get Returning Roles
After ABC announced the renewal of the hit American TV sitcom 'Modern Family', it was also made known that Season 6 of the series will air on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, and occupy the 9:00 pm to 9:30 pm time slot.
The sitcom is considered to be one of the network's most successful comedies in the past five years and has won the "Outstanding Comedy Series" at the Emmy awards for the last four years. Evidently, the show's cast and crew have been putting in a quality effort to maintain its success.
'Modern Family' gave rise to the names of actors and actresses such as Sofia Vergara, Eric Stonestreet, Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen. The sitcom has also proven its caliber as recurring guest stars such as Nathan Lane, Fred Willard and Shelley Long have made their appearances.
What was once a rumor, has since turned to fact, as Steve Zhan as been confirmed to appear on Season 6 of the show. He will assume the role of Ronnie, the father of the family and neighbor to the horrible Dunphys. Zhan of 'Treme', 'Mind Games' and 'Daddy Day Care' fame, will surely be a great addition to the already spectacular comedy series.
Moreover, Adam DeVine will also be a part of the upcoming Season 6. He may not be a regular, but the production team has big plans for him. DeVine played the role of Andy, a male nanny for Jay and Gloria Pritchett's son Joe (an infant). DeVine's most famous projects are 'Pitch Perfect' and 'Pitch Perfect 2'.
Surely, the sixth installment of 'Modern Family' will also be a big hit following the success of its past seasons.
