Malaysia Airlines Flight MH 370 New Technology Used in Search Efforts
In light of the recent advances in the mystery of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370, new technology is being supported and deployed to result in more fruitful searches. While there have been few definitive conclusions about the crash of the flight, one thing known for sure, is that efforts to find answers have doubled.
Hishammuddin Hussein who is the Defense Minister of Malaysia says that more equipment is going to be deployed in order to find some traces of the missing plane.
For one, a navy ship with one of the famous multi-beam echo sounding devices is now going to be released into the ocean to scan its floor around the well known deep sea search zone, which is situated some kilometers away from the West Coast of Australia.
Also, support from energy firms like Petronas, Phoenix International, Deftech are going to come together to make the search activities as efficient and prolonged as they need to be.
Instructions for the immediate mobilization of the equipment has been released already by the Defense Minister and the assets are likely to make their way to the ocean floor sometime in the middle of August this year.
A cost estimate has not been provided by the Defense Minister. It is believed that equipment that had been previously deployed in April for intensive searches is going to continue to remain in the ocean where it can be used again.
