Miranda Lambert Weight Loss Rumors: "White Liar" Defends Surgery Speculation for Slim Frame

We all have that pair of jeans that fit perfect right out of the dryer. Well apparently 30-year old country singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert was having trouble finding that pair. Amidst divorce rumors with fellow country star Blake Shelton, Lambert decided to take it upon herself to lose a little bit of weight.

However, after revealing her new slim shape at the 2013 Country Music Awards, November 5, word on the Web is that the "White Liar" singer underwent surgery to drop the pounds.

On her Four the Record blog Lambert defends her weight-loss process, denying all surgery speculation.

"That is ridiculous," she added. "I lost my weight the healthy and good old fashioned way. Watching what I eat and working out with my trainer Bill Crutchfield."

In the same post, Lambert urges fans and others who are concerned about their weight to pay less attention to the numbers and more how the clothes fit their body.

"Like I have always said, it's not about a scale, it's about how you feel and how your jeans fit," she explained.  "And on November 10th when I turned 30, my skinny jeans were finally baggy! Mission accomplished!"

Lambert, who turned 30 earlier in the month felt like if she worked harder on her health now she wouldn't have to later in life.

"I just feel like I needed to get ahead of the game...people say are you OK about turning 30 and I guess I am, but I guess I'm not because I feel like everybody always says, "It goes downhill from there.'"
