‘Minions’ Movie Trailer Release Date: Travel Back In Time Before the ‘Despicable Me’ Henchmen Met Gru [VIDEO]

The official trailer for the upcoming spin-off movie, 'Minions', is already out and is definitely a sight for sore eyes with its cuteness overload.

The adorable minions now have their very own movie, and the trailer shows the origins of the loveable yellow, gibberish-talking characters through the ages, and the different masters they've served

The evil masters include an evil dinosaur Tyrannosaurus Rex, Egyptian Pharoah, Dracula, and Napoleon Bonaparte-however, it never works out well for them because they always mess something up.

Now, the adorable googly-eyed creatures are trying to find a new master to save their species.

The trailer, which features cool classic rock Jimi Hendrix music, follows the story of three unique minions: prideful Kevin, one-eyed "always hungry" Stuart and weary Bob in search of a new permanent master.

"Finding a master was easy. Keeping a master, that's when things got tricky," the voiceover narrates.

Their adventure takes them to Antarctica to New York during the 1960s and eventually to the world's first ever female villain Scarlett Overkill (voiced by Sandra Bullock) appears.

The trailer ended with one cute minion trying to woo a yellow fire hydrant, who he mistakenly took as another minion.

'Minions', directed by Kyle Balda and Pierre Coffin, will also star 'Mad Men' actor Jon as Scarlett's inventor husband Herb. Steve Coogan, Allison Janney and Michael Keaton will also lend their voices to the film as well.

Watch out for the 'Minions' movie next year on June 26 in the United Kingdom and on July 10 in the United States.
