Long before the release of the 'Minecraft: Xbox One Edition', it has been announced that new skins will be released soon for 'Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition'. It has been confirmed that the upcoming superhero movie, "Guardians of the Galaxy' will be featured in the new skin pack for the popular block-life simulator game.

The news was confirmed by Marvel editor Ben Morse through a Twitter post some time ago, and according to Total Xbox, a picture of the new skins accompanied Morse's post. The skins feature all five of the characters from "Guardians of the Galaxy.'

No release date was mentioned in the tweet, but there is speculation that it will come shortly after the release of the "Guardians of the Galaxy' movie, which is set for August 1. There are also rumors that the skins will come out the moment 'Minecraft: Xbox One Edition' is released.

Meanwhile, a new 'Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition' skin pack has been released for the game last month. The pack is called "Skin Pack 6," and it includes characters from Killer Instincts, 'Super Time Force', 'Mirror's Edge', 'State of Decay', 'Trials Fusion', and 'Dragon Age'. Other included skins included in the pack were 'the Villager Priest', 'the Butcher', 'the Zombie', and many more.

It has been previously reported that 4J studios has announced that 'Minecraft: Xbox One Edition' will be released alongside 'Minecraft: PS4 Edition' and 'Minecraft: PS Vita Edition' in August, although no definite date was confirmed.
