Miley Cyrus Speaks to MTV and Defends Her VMA Performance with Robin Thicke, Watch Here (VIDEO)

Miley Cyrus had a polarizing performance last week at the MTV VMA's Awards show and people are still talking about it. 

Miley went to twitter in the last week defending her performance and even bragging about how much attention it got and that her performance was twittered about twice as much as the superbowl halftime show. 

Cyrus is now coming out speaking with MTV simply claims that is what you are supposed to do with a performance at the VMA's. 

"How many times have we seen this play out in pop music? Madonna's done it. Britney Spears has done it. Every VMA performance, that's what you're looking for; you're wanting to make history," said the 20-year-old pop singer. She claims everyone is 'over thinking it' and surprised even herself that people are still talking about it. 

Between her controversial music video for "We Can't Stop" and her MTV VMA performance, she has definitely been the buzz of the music world for better or worse.
