For sure a lot of the fans of singer Miley Cyrus are now excited about the upcoming 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, not because the famous pop singer is performing yet another highly anticipated performance, but because Cyrus is the host of the VMAs this year.

Yes MTV has this annual award show to bring credit to those artists with crazy and highly innovative music videos and what better idea did the show think of this year but to make one of the craziest and highly innovative artists in the industry as its host.

Indeed Cyrus has changed the face of the music world and is truly a creative artist especially since she announced her hosting stint via social media in an alien costume. Just recently, Cyrus posted a photo of herself one in a full alien costume with her face covered in an alien mask while with a sandwich board that read: "MTV won't let me perform." And in a split photo with her face uncovered and the board was flipped that now read: "So I'm hosting this year's VMAs!"

Cyrus posted the photo on her Twitter with the caption announcing as well when the event will take place. "F--k yeah VMAs!!!!! #VMAs on @MTV Aug 30 at 9:00 pm," Cyrus wrote. Surely, fans and several music lovers should not miss the VMAs this year especially when Cyrus will be the host for the first time.

Although there are not much details released yet except for the big-named host and the recently reported announcement of MTV that the nominees this year will be unveiled exclusively on Beats 1 radio station as the radio station recently posted on its Twitter writing, "Let the countdown begin! The 2015 @MTV #VMA nominees will be announced exclusively on #Beats1. Tuesday 7AM PT/10AM ET."
