Miley Cyrus Finally Speaks out After VMA Performance Backlash.

Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke have been in the headlines ever since their racy performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, where Cyrus made half of America uncomfortable at the sight of her grinding on Thicke. Since the August 25 performance we hadn't heard a word from Cyrus and now she has spoken out. Cyrus spoke to MTV and told the naked truth of how she felt about her duet performance with Thicke. "Me and Robin, the whole time said, 'You know we're about to make history right now,'" Cyrus recalled. "What's amazing is I think now, we're three days later, and people are still talking about it." After the performance made headlines for almost a week straight Cyrus said, "They're over thinking it. You're thinking about it more than I thought about it when I did it," Cyrus argued. "Like, I didn't even think about it 'cause that's just me. I don't pay attention to the negative because I've seen this play out so many times, how many times have we seen this play out in pop music? Madonna's done it. Britney's done it. Every VMA performance, that's what you're looking for; you're wanting to make history." Although, Cyrus received a load of backlash she did get some support from pop artist Justin Timberlake and "the great" Donald Trump sent a message to Cyrus via his vine account saying "Miley don't let them get you down, they're all jealous!"
