Miley Cyrus Addresses Controversial "Wrecking Ball" Video. Speaks on Nudity and What the Video Really Means / "Wrecking Ball" [WATCH NOW]

Earlier this week Miss Miley Cyrus released her music video for her latest single "Wrecking Ball". The video is pretty simple, but Cyrus spices things up by walking around in her underwear, making out with a sledge hammer, and riding on a wrecking ball completely naked.

Of course the video is receiving some negative reactions, but Cyrus stands behind the video 100%. After all, the video gained 12.3 million views in a 24-hour period breaking Vevo's record. Cyrus had an interview with Z100, a radio station based in New York, where she addressed the video and her nudity.

"I think the video is much more, if people get past the point that I'm naked and you actually look at me. You can tell that I actually look more broken than even the song sounds. The song is a pop ballad. It's one of these songs that everyone is gonna to relate to, everyone's felt that feeling at some point."

"If people can take their minds off the obvious and go into their imagination a little bit and see kind of what the video really means and the way that it is so vulnerable," Cyrus continued. "If you look in my eyes I look more sad than actually my voice sounds on the record. It was a lot harder to do the video than it was to even record the song. It was much more of an emotional experience."

I believe people are over reacting due to the fact that they can't accept "Hannah Montana" is no longer "Hannah Montana" she has grown up into her own and she's now a pop sensation, GET OVER IT. Cyrus will not be the first nor last to have some nudity in a music video. Rihanna, Robin Thicke, and even Madonna has showcased nudity in their music videos.

Cyrus' upcoming album "BANGERZ" is set to drop October 8 and if you haven't seen the "Wrecking Ball" video check it out down below. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
