Microsoft Surface 2 Release Date: Tablets Are Sold Out on Microsoft's Online Store / Specs and Price Review [VIDEO]
The new Microsoft Surface 2 tablet appears to be selling out on Microsoft's online store, but the delays so far are minimal and shouldn't be longer than a few days. If would be beneficial to Microsoft to be able to claim that their Microsoft Surface 2 was sold out because it would generate positive interest on their website. In addition, Best Buy is running a campaign that allows customers to trade in their used Microsoft Surface 1 tablets in exchange for a gift card, which they will presumably use to purchase a Microsoft Surface 2.
The Microsoft VP Panos Panay revealed the Microsoft Surface 2 at a press conference over a month ago. He said, "It's not a subtle revamp. A new look? That would be amazing. The biggest feedback we got, was people want us to tell them how to use the product and what to use it for. "
The Microsoft Surface 2 features a keyboard plug-in that makes the tablet look much like a standard laptop computer. One of the main specs that users will appreciate from the Microsoft Surface 2 is the included 200GB storage on the SkyDrive. That is by far the most free storage that a company offers with any tablet purchase.
