Windows has just released Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 14283. The new update will be available to Lumia 950, 950 XL, 650, 550, Xiaomi Mi4, and ALCATEL ONETOUCH Fierce XL.

According to Windows, they are also planning to expand the new window 10 mobile phone update to more devices. For phones who are not yet covered by the update, it is just going to take more time but the future is bright. For the meantime, Windows strongly suggests that other phones should stay at Build 10586 until the update becomes available.

Also, according to the blog site, Build 14283 contains improvements to the Phone app, updates to Outlook Mail & Calendar and there will be a Feedback Hub coming out real soon.

They have fixed the issue of having no background behind the overlay, causing the screen to be really bright at time; they have also corrected the issue when the phone hangs and reboots while users are typing; the "More notifications" message in Action Center is now properly corrected.

Also according to the site, they have also made a couple of improvements for the Live tile refresh logic:

"First, if there are pending notifications for several Live tiles, we will now update them in one quick sweep across the Start screen rather than one at a time. Second, if a Live tile has both badge and content updates, they will now appear at the same time. Finally, apps will now launch faster from the Start screen if there are incoming Live tile updates at the same time."
