Michael Schumacher Condition Latest Update: New Technology Will Help F1 Champ Walk Again?

Almost a year after Michael Schumacher had a tragic skiing accident on the slopes of Meribel in France, there still seems to be little information available about the world champion's current condition.

The Formula 1 legend has been released from the hospital since June and was declared officially out of the coma by his doctors as announced by the family spokesperson and long-time manager Sabine Kehm. However, no news of the racer's current health condition was officially released by his family or his doctors since.

The seven-time F1 world champion was first treated at the University Hospital Center in Grenoble, where his doctors put him into a medically-induced coma following severe head trauma caused by his tragic accident which required two neurosurgeries.

According to an article published by Fox Sports last week, the 44-year-old F1 legend has made significant improvements since he woke from his 6-month coma. However, the world champion remains paralyzed, but Schumacher is now able to communicate to his family by fluttering his eyelids.

Swiss newspapers have recently reported that Schumacher may finally be able to head home after spending almost two months at the Swiss clinic where the former Ferrari driver is currently recuperating.

The Fox Sports article also mentioned that Croatian media has reported that Schumacher's kin have contacted Croatian doctors who have recently developed breakthrough technology based on highly advanced microchip implants which is able to aid patients who have suffered from prolonged comas to walk again in just a short amount of time.

Dr. Darko Chudy and Dr. Vedran Deletis of Croatia reported that the said microchip implants have recently helped a local schoolboy walk from within two months of the time he had awoken from an extended coma.
