Miami Heat Win Game 7 Over San Antonio Spurs for Back to Back Championships, Lebron James Wins 2 Straight Finals MVP's

The Miami Heat topped off Game 7 with the win to beat the San Antonio Spurs in one of the most epic NBA Finals series in NBA history.

It was a series of complete momentum shifts from game to game, down to quarter to quarter. In the matter of Game 6, down to even the final minute of regulation was such an emotional rollercoaster on both sides.

The Spurs were up 5 points at the end of Game 6 and literally 28 seconds away from winning the Championship when it all collapsed on them.

Game 7 was a great game to close out the series. It was tight all the way through down to the last few minutes.

The difference in Games 6 and 7 for the Spurs was the absence of Danny Green and Gary Neal ever being able to get in a groove to add any scoring off the bench like they did earlier in the season. Also, the horrible play of Manu Ginobili and his countless turnovers at critical points in both games.

It is amazing how legacy's can change on a dime. Lebron James was 5 seconds away from being 1-3 in Finals appearances and again coming up short when Ray Allen bailed out the Heat in Game 6. Then Lebron comes out and dominates in Game 7 and wins his 2nd ring and 2nd Finals MVP.

So you have to give it to Lebron for taking advantage of the new opportunity he was given in Game 7 but fans are still in shock Game 7 even happened.

The Heat had the momentum most of Game 7 always up by a few points with San Antonio playing catch up but never really able to get over the hump.

In the end, even though I feel that the Spurs lost the series more than the Heat won it, it was just the Heat's time.

I will say though, if Lebron can have confidence to shoot like he did in Game 7, it will be scary to see what he caould do in the future.
