The Miami Heat will battle the Washington Wizards on October 29 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

The Eastern Conference Champions Miami Heat will host the Nets on Wednesday night, where Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh will play their first game after their former teammate Lebron James took his 'talent' and returned back to Cleveland.

Despite losing "King James" to the Cavaliers via free agency, Wade admits he is very optimistic about the upcoming season.

"When you go through a whole training camp and you go through eight games of preseason, we're excited to get to the real thing. We're excited to see how much growth we've had since the first day of training camp. The regular season, especially early on, we've got a tough schedule [and] it's going to test us, so we look forward to it," said Wade to reporters.

"Early on I was just trying to see what the offense was about, seeing where I can get other guys shots and as we got deeper into the preseason, got deeper into training camp, coach started putting more individual things in for myself and Chris [Bosh]. I'm not worried about shots at all. I can get those."

Meanwhile, the Wizards are looking to upset the Heat on Wednesday night, as Washington looks to build upon last season's 44-38.

Wizards head coach Randy Wittman revealed how his past experience piloting terrible teams in Cleveland (1999-2002) and Minnesota (2007-2008), has helped mold him into a successful leader during the 2013-2014 campaign.

"You learn from your mistakes and grow as you move along - patience being number one probably," said Wittman, according to the Washington Post.

"Early on, patience can sometimes be too little, and you got to learn to go with the flow of what's happening and figure out ways to get through it rather than think the Earth is coming to an end."
