Though the Pacers have proven to be the Heat's only real competition in the 2013 NBA Playoffs, they'll need to make some major adjustments going into Game 4. Frank Vogel needs to give Paul George some help guarding LeBron James. Though the rising superstar has proven himself this postseason, he's on an island defending the NBA's best player. Pacers big men Roy Hibbert and David West need to show some support and block the paint, forcing LeBron to go outside. James has proven he'll take you give him. If you give him space, he'll score.
Indiana needs a win at home tonight before the series goes back to South Beach, Miami.
Game 4 should prove to be a lot different. LeBron James had an efficient, but not overpowering Game 3 [22 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists]. If Udonis Haslem would've missed a few more shots, or if Chris Andersen suddenly shuts off, Game 3 would have had an entirely different outcome.
Miami also did a better job of protecting the ball. The Heat have turned the ball over 36 times in games 1 and 2. In Game 3 they limited it to 5 [the same amount as Paul George alone].
If the Heat could go up 3-1 to the Pacers and return to Miami for Game 5, the Pacers hopes would seem nonexistent.
Again Game 4 between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers starts at 8:30 on TNT.
