The Miami Heat (48-22) will face off against the Detroit Pistons (26-45) at the Palace of Auburn Hills tonight in Detroit. The Heat will be the big favorites for tonight's game, having one of the most impressive records in the NBA so far this season. The Heat look to return to their winning ways tonight when they battle the Pistons this evening. The Heat are trying to rebound from a loss to the Indiana Pacers 2 nights ago by the final score of 84-83. Lebron James totaled 38 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in a losing effort to the Eastern Conference leaders on Wednesday night despite the fact his nose was injured during the game against the Pacers.  Wade might miss tonight's game due to a lingering injury with his right hamstring.

"Both teams played in playoff style, and I don't think we executed good enough," said Wade to reporters after the game.

The Pistons are trying to upset the Heat tonight at their home court. The Pistons were recently defeated by the Cleveland Cavaliers by the final score of 97-96 on Wednesday night. Josh Smith scored 24 points in a losing effort for Pistons. 

"Our guys played their hearts out, and it is tough when you are one shot away from winning the game," said Pistons head coach John Loyer to reporters. "But we didn't do the little things that it takes to win these games."
