The Miami Heat (54-28) will face off against the Charlotte Bobcats (43-39) at the American Airlines Arena on Sunday afternoon in Miami as the NBA 2014 Playoffs get underway this weekend.

The Heat will look to win their third straight championship and fourth overall, but will have to defeat the Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday afternoon.

The Heat recently lost to the Philadelphia 76ers by the final score of 100-87 on Wednesday night in the final game of the season. Dwayne Wade had 16 points and 4 assists in a losing effort for the Heat two nights ago.

"If you had told me when I was a little boy that one day you're going to play 30,000 regular-season NBA minutes, I'd have said 'Get out of here," said Heat player Shane Battier to reporters after accomplishing his incredible feat on Wednesday night. "Even at 35, 13 years in, the novelty of playing in the NBA and living my dream is still there."

The Bobcats are looking to upset the defending NBA World Champion Heat on the road this Sunday afternoon when the two teams battle each other in the first round of the playoffs.

The Bobcats beat the Chicago Bulls by the final score of 91-86 on Wednesday night in the final game of the season. Kemba Walker totaled 22 points and 8 assists to lead the Bobcats to the victory two nights ago.

Now the Bobcats look to defeat the two-time defending NBA Champs on Sunday afternoon. The Bobcats are looking to win their first NBA championship this year but they have to get pass the Heat first.
