After a disappointing defeat to the Philadelphia 76ers the Miami Heat plan to make a comeback tonight against the Brooklyn Nets in their first meeting with the Nets. The two will battle it out at the Barclay's Center, which will be Brooklyn's home opener.

The Heat isn't the only team coming back from a loss. Brooklyn failed to win their season opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a score of 98-94.

Unfortunately, head Coach Jason Kidd was suspended by the NBA for the first two games of the season and won't be in attendance of tonight's game, assistant coach Joe Prunty will be filling in.

Absent during Wednesday's opener, Andrei Kirilenko will be making his way on the court tonight against the Heat.

We don't know to expect from tonight's square off between the Nets and Heats because the Nets have played one game and the Heat has only played one game at full strength, Dwayne Wade sat out against Philadelphia.
