Miami Heat NBA Rumors and News 2014: Chis Bosh & LeBron James Feud? Both Haven’t Spoken Since James Quit Team

Miami Heat star forward Chirs Bosh recently revealed to reporters that he has not spoken to LeBron James ever since the latter decided to sign for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Bosh surprised reporters when he said that he doesn't have "much time" for anyone who is not on the team, apparently indicating that his friendship with James has been affected when the latter quit Miami.

ESPN reports that Bosh acknowledged on Tuesday that he has not spoken to James since the latter decided to leave the Miami Heat. In fact, Bosh also did not seem to be excited about the opportunity to see James on Saturday, when Cleveland and Miami will be playing a preseason game in Rio de Janeiro.

"Yeah ... I don't know," Bosh said, adding, "... I'm in the mode where I'm trying to lead my team, help these guys out around. If guys aren't in this locker room, I don't have much time for them - if any."

Apparently Bosh and his teammate Dwyane Wade feel differently. Wade said he and James would be competitors on the court, but still friends outside of basketball.

"You know, we're still gonna be friends, and we're still gonna compete our a** off, until the day we can't compete no more," Wade told Bleacher Report recently.

Meanwhile, Cleveland and Miami will be playing each other again on Christmas Day. Understanding the hype accompanying the game, Bosh seemed to be happy to get it out of the way early.

Bosh said, "Everybody's going to hype it up, and it's going to be a big deal."

He went on to say, "But for us, it's just another opportunity to get better. We know everything that's surrounding the situation, and it is what it is. As far as we're concerned, this is our team, this is what we're trying to build toward, the past is the past, we're moving on, and it's good to get this out of the way."

On the other hand, though the fate of Miami Heat will depend on the health of its team in the 2014-15 NBA season, early indications lean toward the idea that they will be starting off the season on the wrong foot.

On Monday, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra hinted that Josh McRoberts might not be medically cleared in time for the start of the regular season - something that Heat fans don't want to hear.

The Heat opens the season on Oct. 29 with a home game against the Washington Wizards. McRoberts is recovering from offseason surgery on is left toe. "It's too early to tell, but he's doing a lot," Spoelstra said, "I anticipate he'll increase his workload significantly in the next week to 10 days.
