Mexico looks to beat Cameroon in their first match at the 2014 World Cup. So far, Mexico has never won the most prestigious trophy, only going as far as reaching the Quarter-Finals two times back in 1970 and again in 1986. Mexico will expect Javier "Chicharito" Hernández (Balcázar) to come off the bench since he is currently in a scoring slump. Hernández currently has the third most international goals (35) in Mexico's national team history.

Mexican national team head coach Miguel Herrera is confident his team will have a very successful run at World Cup tournament.

"The players each day are seeing it more clearly, we are working on that," Herrera to reporters. "Our team can be world champions."

Cameroon is looking to make a statement when they battle Mexico.  Samuel Eto'o is looking to lead his team to the victory against the Mexican national team on June 13. Eto'o is the greatest scorer in Cameroon history after scoring 56 goals in his career so far.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup ends on Sunday, July 13, 2014 in Brazil.

The game will begin at 12 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN 2 network or online through live stream by clicking here.
