Mexico looks to defeat Bosnia (and Herzegovina) in an exhibition match in preparation for the 2014 World Cup which starts next week. Mexico has never won the FIFA World Cup, only going as far as reaching the Quarter-Finals back in 1970, when they were knocked out by Italy, and again in 1986, when they were knocked out by West Germany.
Previously, as a result of Bosnia and Herzegovina defecting from Yugoslavia on March 1, 1992, the new nation's soccer team could not enter the 1994 FIFA World Cup because it was not a member of International Federation of Association Football (aka FIFA).
Now in 2014, Bosnia is looking to make a positive impression Tuesday night when they battle Mexico in the international friendly.
The 2014 World Cup begins on Thursday, June 12, 2014 in Brazil.
Tuesday's game will start at 9:30 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN 2 network or online through live stream by clicking here.
