How I Met Your Mother spoilers abound this season. Recently, another mystery in the series has been solved, just days after CBS' How I Met Your Mother finally revealed the titular "mother" this last season.

Series co-creator Carter Bays revealed recently that as HIMYM finishes its 9th and final season, viewers will become "much better acquainted" with Cristin Milioti's character. We first met her at the close of the Season 8 finale. The show then would be said to tell the tale of "the epic story of the longest wedding weekend ever."

Nina Tassler, CBS executive, has now confirmed more rumors for Season 9. entire run will, in fact, span the wedding weekend. And only the wedding weekend. The comedy will detail "how each character, before Ted, meets the mother. So, they each meet her independently before he does."

We'll get to see everyone's first interactions with the character soon. It will be interesting to see how the gang responds as her character is fleshed out over this final season. Milioti - whose casting was kept top-secret using fake episode titles and a largely closed set during taping - is familiar to New York theatergoers as the breakout star of the acclaimed musical Once.
