'How I Met Your Mother' Season 9 SPOILERS: "Mother" and Ted Dish Details on Final Season in Behind-the-Scenes Video: "She's A Loveable Nerd" / Premiere September 23 on CBS [VIDEO]

Only days away from the How I Met Your Mother Season 9 premiere, the titular "mother" is dishing some character details prepping fans for the final season.

The actress taking on the role, Cristin Milioti was kind enough to give us a little bit of insight into the long-awaited character reveal. In a behind-the-scenes video [below] for Season 9 Milioti says the two characters share a lot in common.

"I think she's a loveable nerd. I think she's a history nerd, I think she's a music nerd, she's like a literary nerd, she's very funny, hopelessly awkward," Milioti said. "She's actually kind of a little bit like the female version of Ted, I think."

Does she have the brand of dad-humor that Ted has? Guess we'll have to wait and see in the Season 9 premiere.

Josh Radnor, who all HIMYM fans know as Ted Mosby commends the show for introducing the mother the way they did.

"There was always the question of when will we meet this gal? Will it be the last moment of the series, he turns and there she is? Will we never see her?" Radnor said in the video. "And I thought it was really smart to introduce her at the end of last season and now it seems like they're threading her through the season."
