How I Met Your Mother Season 9 spoilers!

Fans of the hit series, How I Met Your Mother waited 8 long seasons to finally meet...well, the mother, played by former Broadway star Cristin Milioti [30 Rock, The Sopranos]! Finally in the Season 8 finale episode, Mrs. Mosby was finally revealed. Though it was only a short glimpse of Ted's future soul mate. Season 9 promises a lot more screen time with the woman who managed to satisfy one of the most high-maintenance partners in television history.

Q: How will Ted meet the mother?
A: How I Met Your Mother co-creator Carter Bays confirmed each character will meet the mother separately. Of course, Ted will be last.

Q: What happened to the slap bet?
A: TV Line reports How I Met Your Mother Season 9 will also feature the final slaps of Marshal and Barney's slap bet. Marshall's already used six of his slaps, which means there are two remaining slaps for Season 9.

Q: Why meet the mother now?
A: According to co-creator Carter Bays: "We were scared of it for a long time, but this past season, it came up, and it just fit in so well. Ultimately we view it like we've been honing in on this mother mystery for so long. In season one, it was like a shot of planet earth from outer space. And we've honed in and honed in and honed in, and we look at season nine as like now we're down to Google street view."

Q: Meet the mother...Cristin Milioti!
A: Like the mother in the show Milioti is a musician as well. She starred as "Girl" in the Broadway smash Once and has guest starred on popular television shows like 30 Rock, The Sopranos, Nurse Jackie...etc.
