How I Met Your Mother Season 9 Premiere Gets A Date and Time! Episode to Be an Hour Long on Monday, Sept. 23rd. Season 9 Spoilers.

"How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 is one of the most anticipated seasons for one of the most-loved shows on television today. And, as of today, it has a real date and time!

The season premiere of "How I Met Your Mother"'s final season is set for September 23rd at 8 p.m. ET. This will push back the series premiere of the new show "We Are Men", which will normally air at 8:30 p.m. on Monday nights.

Several details about the season have been leaked and have been discussed already, but here are a few of the things that we do know.

Spoilers ahead:

We will meet the mother. Cristin Milioti has been confirmed as a cast member for season 9. The series co-creator Carter Bays has been quoted as saying that we will become "much better" acquainted with her character.

The season will take place over the course of the wedding weekend. There will be some sort of flashback or flashforward in every episode, but other than that, the timeline will be limited to that weekend. This will be interesting to see. We've all got every bit of confidence in the HIMYM staff of writers, I just hope that it doesn't get stagnant, since the scenery won't change much. We'll just have to see what they have in store for How I Met Your Mother Season 9.

The Mother will have individual interactions with each cast member and Ted will be the last to meet her. CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler has said that Season 9 will show "how each character, before Ted, meets the mother. So, they each meet her independently before he does." This will be awesome to see how the characters are all related before they even know it, LOST-style

Hooray for more "How I Met Your Mother" news!
