Fans of 'Dancing with the Stars' will be excited to learn that rumors about a romantic relationship have recently surrounded last season's winners Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis.

Even though the two are in the news again, nothing has been officially confirmed as Chmerkovskiy has been reluctant disclose any information about his love life. In the past, the professional dancer has been romantically linked to Jennifer Lopez, Kate Upton, and now, Meryl Davis.

The 'Dancing with the Stars' champ, in a press meeting, announced that he was bowing out of the show as a dancer. While he says that he wants to give way to newer talents, rumor has it that he's dropping out at the request of his alleged love interest, Davis.

When asked about the dating rumors, the 'Dancing with the Stars' pro was ambiguous with his response, "What would you like me to say? I'm not dating J.Lo, Meryl and Kate. Maybe I'm dating all three, who knows!" he said.

"I love Meryl. We're friends and we'll always be," Maks added, explaining that his personal life "won't be anybody's business."

On the other hand another interview gave fans a shred of hope. Maksim had this to say when Davis was brought up, "You spend summertime away from your home. When you spend three months very closely with someone at a particular place, it is like a summer love. You have no choice but to get involved with that person. Three months is a long time, and if I am going to give someone that much of my time, I am going to develop a relationship with that person."

Interestingly enough, he also said, "I want Meryl to be the last person I dance with ... the last person I got to be passionate with and care so much for."

As it stands, nothing has been set in stone, but fans can always hope that the couple will one day publicly announce a relationship.
