Maksim Chmerkovskiy of Dancing with the Stars has one again come into the spotlight as several women are being linked romantically to the professional dancer. Chmerkovskiy has been linked to Jennifer Lopez and Kate Upton, but reports are now looking at the former partners Chmerkovskiy and Davis.

After taking home the Mirrorball trophy in the DWTS Season 18 finale, reports are going around that the pair is taking their sizzling chemistry off the dance floor and into their personal lives.

In June, the 34-year-old choreographer posted an Instagram photo of him and the former Olympic medalist together, with the caption, "All is right in the world again! Got my long awaited hug!"

Chmerkovskiy compared his on-stage chemistry with Davis, as well as his past dance partners, to a "summer romance."

"Do you know what a showmance is? It is like being at a summer camp when you're a teenager," Chmerkovskiy told Social Life magazine, "You spend summertime away from your home. When you spend three months very closely with someone at a particular place, it is like a summer love. You have no choice but to get involved with that person."

The DWTS veteran said that if it up to him, he'd want his last dance to be with Davis.

"I want Meryl to be the last person I dance with," Chmerkovskiy said, "The last person I got to be passionate with and care so much for."

Chmerkovskiy, however, said that he is also looking for a partner off the dance floor.

"I raised so many children at the studio that I am ready to create one of my own," said the DWTS star, "I am really ready to have a family now. I need an outlet. I have so much I want to give, and I need someone to give it to."

Among Chmerkovskiy's exes include Karina Smirnoff and Kate Upton, only time will tell whether Chmerkovskiy and Davis will show some chemistry off the dance floor.
