Max Lucado's, "The Christmas Candle" Premiere Date and Synopsis

 

 

Best selling author, Max Lucado, has come out with yet another holiday film, "The Christmas Candle", that is going to be great for the family to enjoy together. Based in the year of 1890, the English countryside of a quaint village named Gladbury, has a longtime tale of how every 25-years someone receives a magical gift on Christmas. The tale has it that every 25-years an angel vists the towns candlemaker and touches one very single candle. Now, whoever lights this particular candle receives a miracle on Christmas Eve. Yet, at the beginning of the electric age, the candlemakers shop and the Christmas Eve miracle may come to an end.

One day, David Richmond (Hans Matheson), a driven young minister, arrives in Gladbury and the villagers begin to discover that there is more than one way to have a Christmas miracle besides the lighting of the candle. The town discovers that the new formula for miracles is by doing good deeds and showing acts of kindness. Yet, when David trys to change Gladbury and make it more modernized, he is at odds when he comes head to head with the candlemaker and the lovely,Emily Barstow (Samantha Barks). The determined and desperate candlemaker continues to fight for the Christmas Eve legend to remain alive, when all of a sudden the candle that was touched by the angel goes missing. The town of Gladbury and the miracles of Christmas come together and show the townspeople the most unforgettable Christmas Eve they have ever witnessed.
