Mass Effect Trilogy Next-Gen HD Remake for PS4 and Xbox One? Twitter Post Hints at Possibility (VIDEO)
The Mass Effect Trilogy may be getting a remake for the Xbox One and PS4 according to a Tweet made by an executive at game developer BioWare.
"We have discussed that internally. If we can put solid plans together we'll share. Great to hear you're keen," said BioWare Edmonton and Montreal general manager Aaryn Flynn on Twitter answering a question.
The initial question was asked way back in December. "What do you guys think about releasing an ME Trilogy remaster for PS4/XB1? 1080p/high-res textures/60fps, etc?" said the Twitter user.
The Mass Effect Trilogy was already re-released for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in 2012, but of course this new version would have HD 1080p graphics.
"As Commander Shepard, rise to become the galaxy's most elite soldier and lead an all-out war to stop an ancient and ruthless enemy: the Reapers. With over 75 hours of content and more than 300 awards, one of gaming's most acclaimed franchises is available for the first time in a premium foiled box set. Experience all three Mass Effect games for $59.99," reads the game's description.
BioWare is currently working on Mass Effect, which they hinted at last year.
