Mary Mary Receives NAACP IMAGE AWARD Nominations
Award winning duo, Mary Mary, received a pair of 2013 NAACP Image Award nominations for Best Duo, Group or Collaboration and Best Gospel Album (Traditional or Contemporary) for "Go Get It". The nominations add to the two Grammy nominations the duo received last week for Best Gospel Song and Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance for their hit song, "Go Get It."
These accolades come on the heels of the successful second season launch of the duo's popular reality show, "Mary Mary," on WE tv, which premiered Thursday December 6th and airs on Thursday nights at 9 pm ET/PT.
Mary Mary also recently received a CableFax Award for their show, "Mary Mary," in the Faith-based category for Best Show or Series, which is a first for any gospel artist. The CableFax Awards honor the best in cable content and people.
Erica and Tina co-wrote the award nominated chart- topping hit "Go Get It," along with producer, Warryn Campbell. The Grammy Awards will be given out during the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, February 10th, 2013 and will be televised live on CBS. The 44th NAACP Image Awards will air on February 1st on NBC.
Mary Mary continue their hectic schedule with an upcoming interview on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, as well as co-hosting the 2013 Stellar Awards, which will tape Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Nashville, TN.
