Married With Children Spinoff News, Rumors: Details Revealed After Recent Cast Reunion [VIDEOS]

There are multiple reports claiming that one of the greatest television series of all-time will launch a brand new spinoff series, starring one of the major characters from the 'Married With Children' sitcom.

"It would revolve around a grown-up Bud Bundy, whose sex obsession is presumably now being treated through group counseling, with each episode a harrowing glimpse into the pathology of compulsion," according to an AV Club report.

David Faustino recently went on social media to address the rumors that claim he will be reprising his role as Al and Peg Bundy's only son Bud in the reported spinoff nearly 20 years after the show was cancelled.

"Soo, this just dropped in the Hollywood Reporter this morning: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/married-children-spinoff-works-732268 ...that would be nice ...." wrote Faustino via Twitter on September 11.

The original actors who played the Bundys, Ed O'Neill as Al, Christina Applegate as Kelly and David Faustino as Bud from the popular sitcom recently reunited with 'Sons of Anarchy' actress Katey Sagal (Peggy), when she finally received her Hollywood Walk of Fame on September 9.

"Beyond awesome!!!! So happy to have been there to witness. Love ya @KateySagal," tweeted Applegate on Tuesday in tribute of her TV mother from the hit comedy series.

O'Neil paid tribute to his sitcom wife when his former co-star was honored for her tremendous acting career.

"I'm gonna say something that's never done much in Hollywood, I'm going to say something nice about my ex-wife," said O'Neill on the Walk of Fame podium at Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

"I met Katey in 1986. We were both trying out for the parts of Al and Peg Bundy on 'Married With Children.' ...We grew together as a cast and good friends and we see the whole family is here today. I was there when Katey won the Golden Globe for 'Sons of Anarchy.' I was proud of her before. I was proud of her then and I'm proud of her today."

Sagal revealed that the secret to her long and successful career in the entertainment industry.

"When I was a kid, my parents used to always tell me I was too much in a loving way. ... I felt everything very deeply, I took everything very personally," said Sagal, "Then, I became an actor and I found a place for all of that. What began as a self-conscious flaw, became an asset."

'Married With Children' aired 259 episodes on the Fox network from 1987-1997, which resulted in making the legendary cast on a show about the dysfunctional nuclear family (The Bundys) household names to this very day.
