Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj Leaving 'American Idol', Confirmed Personally Over Twitter, See What They Said

"American Idol" it's lowest ratings on TV this season (Season 12) and not even 2 star divas could save the show as judges. In fact, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj having little spats again and again on the show probably actually hurt ratings.

"The Voice" on NBC has shown the power of positive chemistry between judges and that people get turned off  by the snarkiness after awhile.

Neither Carey or Minaj leaving "American Idol" is a shock, as most expect a completely new judge lined up for next year with last original judge Randy Jackson announcing that he is leaving the show as well.

Mariah Carey is enjoying gobal #1 hit with Miguel called, "Beautiful" right now.

Carey's publicity team (@PMK_BNC) confirmed her departure with this tweet, "W/ global success of "#Beautiful" (#1 in 30+ countries so far) @MariahCarey confirms world tour & says goodbye 2 Idol www.mariahcarey.com"

Minaj also announced her official resignation via twitter, (@NICKIMINAJ), "Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn't trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!

Keith Urban is the only judge left from this season that has not given official word yet on if he will be back or not yet.

Who do you think will be judging on "American Idol" next year?
